Guest Posted 12 December 2012 Share Posted 12 December 2012 My son has just asked for this and I've noticed there's a "year edition" as well as the normal. can anyone tell me what the difference is? Also is the PC version or PS3 version better? Thanks

Thanks The Game of the Year edition should come with Undead Nightmares, which is the DLC of Red Dead, I'd get the GOTY edition

Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 December 2012 Share Posted 12 December 2012 Quality game, but very adult, in the manner of many Rock Star games.

BoneDog Posted 13 December 2012 Share Posted 13 December 2012 The game of the year edition ftw. Think it has all the dlc so you don't have to pay for that seperately. The dlc sometimes costs a bomb. Might have another go on this sometime. Bostin' game. Hunting for rattlers n shit.

Brenfox Posted 14 December 2012 Share Posted 14 December 2012 Played it for an hour & was very underwhelmed. Is it worth persevering with?
stix Posted 14 December 2012 Share Posted 14 December 2012 The game of the year edition ftw. What does 'ftw' stand for? I thought it was something like 'fùck the world' Along the same lines as 'fml'
Jaspa Posted 14 December 2012 Share Posted 14 December 2012 What does 'ftw' stand for? I thought it was something like 'fùck the world' Along the same lines as 'fml' For The Win Abit of an Americanism really On this game tho, I bought this last december an occasionally played it and only killed it off last month. Gotta say I enjoyed the overall game, the minigames like poker nd 4 finger filet but the end was abit flat and once you've comped it its abit weird. Rockstar keep going tho, long may it last
Legend_in_blue Posted 14 December 2012 Share Posted 14 December 2012 Played it for an hour & was very underwhelmed. Is it worth persevering with? Indeed. I never did see the fuss over this title. Didn't like it either. Useful trade in since it was a second hand copy in the first place. Nowt lost there.
MrSpaM Posted 15 December 2012 Share Posted 15 December 2012 Played it for an hour & was very underwhelmed. Is it worth persevering with? If you stick with it it has one of the best storys of this generation for video games. If you havnt got to mexico yet you havnt seen anything
Brenfox Posted 16 December 2012 Share Posted 16 December 2012 I think I got to the bit where you've just learnt to ride a horse so not very far in. Only wanted to play it as I have the goty edition & wanted to play undead nightmare after I finished it.
