Yer the processing power is good and the graphics card is more powerful than the ps3 but in terms of a PC the specs are nothing special at all. The price MUST reflect that. Apparently the ps3 will have Kinect like sensors available in a new eye and move sensors in the controllers. Something about it that doesn't quite get me as hyped as the ps3 did. The kinect thing has been doing the rounds a couple of days now, they are trying to turn the xbox into the new Wii, the family console. The second hand games thing as well, sony have announced the ps4 is going to allow second hand games, currently microsoft arnt saying wether they are or not, which is making everybody think they are pushing for less second hand game sales. Just google it if you dont believe me, this stuffs been doing the rounds for the past week. This big Playstation announcement is at 9PM GMT today, they are showing the whole event live on IGN from 8PM, hopefully we'll at least get some next gen game reveals. The main concern would be privacy I suppose. Also, what would happen if your particular kinect system broke? It's also worth noting that this hasn't been confirmed by Microsoft. Fair dues. Has this all come from them patenting something last month? I've heard different bits and bobs. I'll believe it when it's official, I think (and obviously so does everyone) they would lose a substantial amount of customers if it were to go ahead. It really depends on features and how they manage them really. I'm all for a media centre but with the latest changes to the XBox 360 dashboard and still having to pay for a gold membership to use stuff like sky/netflix, it doesn't look great for them.
