marko Posted 27 April 2014 Share Posted 27 April 2014 We won't be going down btw It's an absolute travesty that you won the re-run against Doncaster. They were going on to win that game and conditions didn't deteriorate any further in the second half from what they were in the first half. Without that win you'd be deep in the mire and they'd be practically safe.

Donny were facing defending the puddle in front of the goal for 45mins with 10 men, who knows how it would have panned out. We're getting a new pitch with undersoil heating and 3G around the edges and technical area anyway

The least you could have done is given them a free goal in the re-run.

Still, my point stands that conditions were the same at the end of HT as they were during the 1st half. Lucky 3 points that could be the difference between relegation or survival. Guest Posted 3 May 2014 Share Posted 3 May 2014 Only just checked the bottom and it's hard to believe that Wycombe could be leaving the league - I remember when MoN was there and they were charging up it. Surprised to see Northampton hovering above oblivion as well. They've given us some good games over the last few seasons. In Div 1 Wolves have "done a Leicester" and are coming straight back up as champions. Happy for them always enjoyed playing them in the old div 1 - good for the Midlands too. Asha Posted 3 May 2014 Share Posted 3 May 2014 Funny that Bristol Rovers have been relegated, and are facing a charge for over-celebrating their survival last week. Look like utter morons now don't they!?

Look like utter morons now don't they!? tbf they didn't over-celebrate surviving, they just celebrated a goal. new stadium has the go ahead, 17-20k and they're going to be in the conference. depressing times. Ah so it's normal to invade the pitch every time you get a late winner? No, they were celebrating because they assumed they were safe.
ScouseFox Posted 3 May 2014 Share Posted 3 May 2014 they celebrated a goal that looked at the time like it would keep them up. it's not like they invaded at full time and were lifting the players above their heads singing we are staying up as if it was mathematically certain. Fox92 Posted 7 May 2014 Share Posted 7 May 2014 Bristol Rovers, Hereford, Stockport- all now out of the league that we played in League One. Our leagues need to be restructured. The conference premier (or whatever it's called) should be Division/League three. Consider how many big/former League teams are in that division... Hereford, Aldershot, Southport, Wrexham, Macclesfield, Lincoln, Barnet, Kidderminster and now Bristol Rovers added to that.
