Webbo Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 Badly screwed over the rent? It's money for old rope, almost pure profit. Apart from paying back the money borrowed to build it, the business rates, the maintenance, the insurance and the utility bills
Strokes Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 Apart from paying back the money borrowed to build it, the business rates, the maintenance, the insurance and the utility billsAll of which we have to pay anyway. Hugo Sanchez Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 Says a good reliable Cov Source. I believe him because he doesn't post rubbish. I personally think it be Northampton.
LCFC FOX Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 If we let them ground share and we get them away in the cup, Does that mean we have to sit in our own away end?
Bilo Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 If we let them ground share and we get them away in the cup, Does that mean we have to sit in our own away end? Good point. Our 'allocation' would probably have to be half the ground.

CountesthorpeFox Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 not sure if this has been mentioned but would anyone have any concerns regarding the pitch? I know Ed did an amazing job this year but it would be doubling the amount of usage?

I know Ed did an amazing job this year but it would be doubling the amount of usage? It has been mentioned but not really discussed my response to someone mentioning it was; Blackpool used a bad pitch to their 'advantage' last season when we played them apparently. Harry - LCFC Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 If we let them ground share and we get them away in the cup, Does that mean we have to sit in our own away end? 'You're supposed to be at home' would have to get an airing!

Leicesterpool Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 From listening to the phone in, they said there's three football league grounds there in talks with which rules out Butts Park but they said all three we're in the west midlands so that's us out then. Kitchandro Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 I did for the Real madrid game. So did I! Our normal singing section seemed to be mostly there so I felt like an away fan looking at L and K and we sounded really good. I've always thought it would be a good away end if it was full and everyone stood, they sort of look crammed in in the corner.
Bilo Posted 9 June 2013 Share Posted 9 June 2013 Concerts Indeed. Apparently ACL make more money from these than they do from CCFC, not to mention the attached casino and facilities.

dynamark Posted 10 June 2013 Share Posted 10 June 2013 Reality the football club are probably a relatively minor part of the revenue stream at the Richoh.Plenty to be made from concerts, casino, product launches, exhibitions etc.Pity we cannot use the KP for similar stuff. hackneyfox Posted 10 June 2013 Share Posted 10 June 2013 Co* are emant to pay 1m a year in rent on the Ricoh, they have failed to pay that a few times. The current owners of The Reeko offered them a reduced rent of 400k and they still won't pay that. Why on earth would we take the risk of having the pitch torn up by playing too many games for a figure below 400k a season. **** em
Leicester_Numan Posted 10 June 2013 Share Posted 10 June 2013 I had the pleasure of meeting up with some Cov fans on the last Numan tour and they were far from being chavs or scum. Lovely people and I'd rather have a few beers with them than some of our mob
