PSG Statement

 

"Frankly I couldn't give a toss if we lose against Juventus, at the end of play, if they win, we will still be above them, the hype on this game is pathetic"

 

"If Mark_w wins this match up, it will be his one and only Christmas present, because nobody in the World loves him"

Juventus Statement

In an exclusive interview with http://www.juventus.com, Andrea Pirlo today claimed that "Kingfox is an immature, childish, racist, dick. Or a very intelligently crafted fictional character that deserves to be recognized alongside the likes of Santa and Ian Holloway. Either way we're confident of picking up the three points and overtaking PSG before the season is over."

 

Mark_w distanced himself from the midfielders claims, stating "I couldn't possibly comment on whether I think Mr. Pirlo's accusation is 100% accurate."

We welcome you to the Juventus Stadium Live here in Turin as we bring you coverage of the huge FoxesTalk Football League clash between Juventus & Paris Saint-Germain. A war of words between managers and players off the field lit the fire under this games belly with many fans highly anticipating a real tough affair.

Both sides come into today's game on the back of good form, both squads also possess some of the leading players in terms of performances in the league so far this season. The teams news has been posted below and it is clear that neither side will be looking to sit back, this should be an amazing game to kick off our new live broadcast feature!

- The teams are making their way onto the field and the fans are as loud and colorful as you would expect. It will be interesting to see which players have the biggest say on today's game, the likes of Ibrahimovic & Pirlo both touted to be in the team of the season come the end of the campaign.

0 - Kick Off - Paris Saint-Germain get us underway, kicking from right to left.

1st - Early chance for Lavezzi but he is to eager and is caught offside early one.

3rd - Juventus put a nice passing move together but an inadvertent block from the referee breaks the move down.

5th - A good chance for Llorente! Asahoah managed to evade a challenge from Maxwell and swung a lovely ball to the back post, Thiago Silva just managed to knock the ball out of the Spaniards path and PSG manage to clear!

7th - Another nice piece of play, this time between Vidal and Lichtsteiner. They give and go between each other, allowing Vidal to play the ball in, however a weak header from Marchisio is gratefully caught by Sirigu. Juventus looking bright in the opening minutes.

11th - Pirlo goes close! The passing from Juventus is superb once more as PSG are struggling to retain possession. A nice bit of interplay opens up the path to shoot for Pirlo but he scoops the shot and it travels harmlessly wide.

14th - PSG are camped in their own half at present, they are struggling to find an out ball and Juventus continue to probe.

15th - PSG almost capitalize with a wonderful counter-attack! Motta collects a poor pass from Marchisio and releases Lavezzi down the left, the Argentinian turns inside his marker and delivers a great cross into the area. Thiago Motta meets the cross with a thumping header but its straight at Buffon!

16th - GOAL FOR PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN!!! ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC!!! Well they may not have been in the game but amazingly the French Champions take the lead and its that man Ibrahimovic! Buffon takes a goal kick which is won in the air by Silva, PSG play the ball outwide to Lavezzi who once again bursts past Lichtsteiner. The cross is superb as he picks out Ibrahimovic at the back stick who bullets a header in at the near post!

19th - Juventus look rattled as PSG seem comfortable on the ball now.

21st - Great save from Sirigu! Juventus play the ball well again and once again find Pirlo on the edge of the area. He drives a high shot which seems goal bound but Sirigu pushes the ball around the post! Corner to Juventus...

22nd - The corner comes to nothing and PSG look to break on the Italians.

26th - Juventus continue to probe forward but the PSG back line continues to hold firm.

28th - GOAL FOR JUVENTUS!!! FERNANDO LLORENTE!!! Juventus have levelled things up here and its Llorente with a superb header! Vidal manages to weave inside Asamoah and delivers a lovely dinked ball to the front post where Llorente out jumps Alex to flash a header past Sirigu! Game on now!

31st - It's a complete turn around here as PSG are at sixes and sevens in defense now! Quick fire shots from Vidal and Marchisio are blocked but the clearances are panicked ones!

35th - Small lull in the match here as neither side can really get hold of the ball, its turning a bit scrappy.

38th - Brave keeping from Buffon! Lavezzi and Ibrahimovic play a nice one two which releases the Swede on goal, however Buffon bursts off his line and clatters into him to take the ball, brave goalkeeping to say the least!

42nd - Carlos Tevez has barely been mentioned this afternoon, he is being isolated so far and has yet to have real influence on the game.

45th+2 - Ibrahimovic releases a shot out of frustration, it stings the hands of Buffon but that will be the last action of the half.

Half Time - Well both sides go into the break level and it has been an even affair so far. Both sides have shown glimpses of the good and the bad, with Llorente & Ibrahimovic both bagging headers in the first period.
 

It will be interesting to see who steps up their game in the next half.

45th - Juventus get us back underway here.

47th - Edinson Cavani is having the same experience as Tevez today, very isolated and not really influencing play.

50th - The midfield is where the football is being played at present, its a real battle there at the moment with both sides looking to open up the play.

54th - The Juventus Stadium is really quiet at the moment as neither side is really imposing themselves.
 

55th - Substitution for Paris Saint-Germain. PSG make the first change as Verratti makes way for Rabiot.

57th - Off the line! A tremendous block on the line from Motta denies Lichtsteiner a golden chance here. A superb cutting through ball from Pirlo set the German away but Motta did excellently to stop the goal.

61st - Substitution for Juventus. The goalscorer Fernando Llorente is making way here and Mirko Vucinic enters the fray.

63rd - What a chance! A long ball from Alex releases Matuidi on goal, he has a whole goal to aim at but must of had too much time to think about it, as he dragged his shot just past the post! A real let off for Juventus there!

67th - Juventus are all over the place at present, they just can't clear their lines.

70th - Substitution for Paris Saint-Germain. Surprisingly its Lavezzi making way and Lucas Moura takes his place.

71st - Substitution for Juventus. Andrea Pirlo has had to come off here after picking up a knock, Paul Pogba has replaced him.

72nd - The game is looking destined for a draw here, can any of the changes to the teams make the difference in this final third?

73rd - Oh what a miss! Rabiot has his head in his hands after he misses an open goal from all of 8 yards! Lucas & Ibrahimovic work the ball well down the left, Moura feeds Ibrahimovic inside and he releases a great shot which cannons off the post. The ball rebounds to Rabiot but he slices the ball across the goal when he should really be scoring!

74th - Substitution for Juventus. Final roll of the dice here for the Italians as Quagliarella comes on to take Vidal's place.

76th - First free kick of the game goes to PSG and its in a dangerous area. 40 Yards from goal from the left of the area.

80th - Into the final 10 minutes and both sides look defensively solid. It's going to take a piece of magic or mayhem to turn this game on its head!

83rd - A goal is looking more and more unlikely as the minutes tick by.

88th - Tevez sums up his game today with a wayward drive from 25 yards, it sails wide of the goal by some distance.

90th - The 4th official indicates 2 minutes of added time, can anyone become the hero for their side?

90th+2 - GOAL FOR JUVENTUS!!! KWADWO ASAMOAH!!! With what will surely be the final kick of the game Juventus have won it! A beautiful break down the right from Quagliarella, he beat his marker and turned inside smashing the ball across goal. Pogba met the pass with a shot but it was blocked, however the ball deflected to the back post where Asamoah rolled the ball under Sirigu! Incredible!

90th+4 - The whistles are ringing out but PSG have a chance here, a throw in near the corner flag, the game must surely be over?!

90th+5 - Cavani swings in a cross but the ball evades Ibrahimovic & the game is over!!

Full Time - What a finish here in Turin! Kwadwo Asamoah is the hero of the day bagging a priceless goal in what was a real tough, end to end match. PSG will feel aggrieved but it made for some excting viewing.
