Just out of interest, which of those would you say was the best overall venue in terms of sound/view/atmosphere and everything?

For me all of them hold certain memories

But if I was to pick one gig it would of been Glasgow barrowlands

10 years of noise and confusion tour

Small venue

Crazy Scottish

Mad weekend in Glasgow

Plus Martin O'Neill was there in the v.i.p section at back of venue with his daughters

As he just went to Celtic then.

Think there was only 2,000 fans there.

You could feel the floor bounce.

It's the gig that is on sky arts alot

Not surprised you picked that gig, scottish crowds are brilliant too.

I drove past Barrowlands on Wednesday and was surprised how small it was.

You'd be brave to go there in that area of Glasgow lol

I'm a huge Biffy fan and they did a set there for the BBC during lockdown I think? Was on the iplayer.

Would love to see them there at such an intimate venue.

Just watching the stuff on BBC now, absolutely brilliant.

If anyone didn't know, Top Of The Pops MADE the bands mime.

So Oasis swapped round, Noel miming Liams vocals and Liam pretending to play guitar lol

Absolute genius by the brothers Gallagher.

Just listened to the massively imaginatively titled ‘Liam Gallagher John Squire’ album and I think it’s very good. Give it a few more listens over the next little while see if it grows any more, the guitar work brilliant as you’d expect and Liam sounds great.

Just listening to "Raise Your Hands" a lot better than the previously released tracks but still nowhere near the level of Oasis or The Roses.

Course not it’s never going to be, and I’d prefer if Ian brown wrote the lyrics and sang them,

myself, but I still enjoy the album. Listened to it a few more times and it’s a dam sight better than anything oasis put out after standing on the shoulder of giants imo, and a dam sight better than anything squire has put out post roses as well.

Strong rumours of a reunion next summer Wembley and Heston park ….thoughts? I for one think it should be avoided. Great band in their day and loved seeing them live a few times but in 2025 seeing Liam and Noel stomping around singing Rock n Roll star strikes me as desperate and embarrassing.

Saw Liam in Madrid last summer and he was great. Since he started taking care of himself a lot more, he seems to have got it back, whatever ‘that’ is.

For someone that was too young to see them before the split, I for one would be buzzing. It would put the Taylor Swift tour from this summer into insignificance, it would be a huge national event.

I'm torn. Their songs still resonate with people all these years later. It gives those who couldn't see them the chance to see them. That being said, crowds are usually full of dickheads.

I went to the stone roses reunion shows and the crowd wasn’t that bad.

Went to see liam do the definately maybe album and it was brilliant.  I guess if you saw them back in the day theres not a big draw, I'd consider it...if its true that is.

I did as well mate and I'd agree. Stone Roses atmosphere was class. I've seen Liam a few times and I'm always on edge.

Interesting, it was giving a bit ‘stoned love’ to be fair, whereas I’d imagine the Oasis gigs will be a bit more Boxing crowd type affairs.
