davieG Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 Porto keen on Raul Jimenez FC Porto are readying summer bid for Club America forward Raul Jimenez, according to O Jogo. The Dragons are looking for attacking reinforcements considering that star striker Jackson Martinez is widely tipped to leave the club at the end of the season and they seem to have set their sights on the Mexican starlet. Having earlier signed Diego Reyes and Hector Herrera, it appears the Dragons will again be shopping in Mexico. Porto officials are convinced the 23-year-old has what it takes to succeed in Europe and they look set to make their interest concrete. And with Club America having just secured the signature of star striker Oribe Peralta, chances are they will be ready to entertain offers for Jimenez. Raul Jimenez has been likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his style of play and he already has 22 Mexico caps to his name. The talented forward has so far bagged 32 goals in 92 league appearances for Club America.
leicesterisme Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 Doubt we will be looking at him from what he does in the World Cup. His price will rocket if he has a good tournament, if we are looking at him I'd imagine we would try and do something before it starts.

KFS Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 I'm sorry but I only discuss players who have been linked by a credible source such as the Leicester Mercury. On a serious note, what's he like?

Manwell Pablo Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 No one's going to have seen much of him he plays in Mexico. His record hardly screams Premier League though

martyn Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 He's a pretty decent player. Has probably earned more caps recently owing to the coach heavily favouring the selection of domestic based players. Realistically he's behind Hernandez and "Horrible" Peralta in the pecking order at least.
Finnegan Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 Isn't shit like this supposed to get locked.unless there's a credible source? These "I heard" threads are starting to get excessive.
mozartfox Posted 28 May 2014 Share Posted 28 May 2014 Can someone please create a 'rumor' count, which can be adjusted at the end of each day? It seems names are now being bounded about without any substance whatsoever, a bit like the Sun and Daily Star. We should break 100 by the weekend. Jonatan Soriano of Red bull Salzburg is apparently attracting the interest of several EPL teams. Surely, we can lob ourselves in on this one?
