Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 5 March 2014 Share Posted 5 March 2014 Windows 8 is garbage. They compromised it far too much to bring it in line with the feel of Windows Phone 8, and the result is terrible for basics like browsing folders and changing between windows
BoneDog Posted 5 March 2014 Share Posted 5 March 2014 Windows 7 is Stone Cold Steve Bostin. I recently gave up on my old xp machine after hearing xp was nearing its end and went to a small computer repair shop and got a refurbished 7 machine with a better cpu and more memory for less than 200 pound coins. The improvement is off the scale. Gone high-tech round here. DUAL CORE!

LeicesterBran Posted 5 March 2014 Share Posted 5 March 2014 Doent support of W7 end in a couple of years? Yeah I heard Mainstream support will end on January 12th 2015 with extended support to 2020. I am happy with Windows 7, I will not be getting Windows 8 as it is shit. May get Windows 9 if it is good.
potter3 Posted 5 March 2014 Share Posted 5 March 2014 Windows 8 is the first Windows I've used personally, not noticed much difference between it and the computers at school/work/uni that had XP or 7.

Fox92 Posted 6 April 2014 Share Posted 6 April 2014 Have they finally stopped providing updates? To be fair, they have released three operating systems since.
