Webbo Posted 9 April 2014 Share Posted 9 April 2014 I'm thinking of getting a new desktop and obviously it's cheaper without windows. Is ubuntu any good? Is it compatible with other programmes? However you do have to know what you're doing, not being an "expert" as such but it is sort of 'advanced' in terms of set up and maintenance. Played about a lot on Linux, as well as other OS, and although I'm not a massive massive fan of Microsoft I still use their OS because it's generally simple.
