Matt Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 If Fulham weren't already fearful of the season ahead after their start, they should be if they sign Beckford.

Corky Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 Deluded Dougie was at it again at the weekend. They've just lost their 23rd match in a row and he's taking the positives from the last 10 minutes at 4-0 down and feels that "things are turning and we'll get a break soon". iamafox Posted 1 September 2014 Share Posted 1 September 2014 There's been some interesting deals in the Championship: Glenn Murray - Crystal Palace to Reading (loan) Jos Hooiveld - Southampton to Norwich (loan) Luciano Becchio – Norwich to Rotherham (loan) Matt Smith – Leeds to Fulham (£500,000) Jason Steele – Middlesbrough to Blackburn (season-long loan) Mark Hudson – Cardiff to Huddersfield (undisclosed) Ignasi Miquel - Arsenal to Norwich City (undisclosed)

Dan LCFC Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 I'd like to see Norwich do well this year. Got respect for any club who puts faith in a bit of an unknown (excluding lunacy like Hockaday at Leeds which was blatantly laughable)

Fox in the North Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Matt Smith He's rubbish. Looks like Fulham have gone for McCormack's old strike partner in a desperate bid to get his form back.

Corky Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Interesting. Did well at Brighton and reached the play-offs, but wasn't it considered (Brad?) that his style was quite laboured, whilst Watford are quick and high scoring. Though he believed Drinkwater was the best midfielder in the league last year so he knows his stuff.
ADK Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Garcia impressed me. Took a depleted Brighton side to the play offs. Think he'll get top 6 with Watford minimum. Quite a few good teams in the championship this year.
Super_horns Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Hope you are right. Could do with some tightening up at the back. Sure he will adapt to suit the attacking options we have.
BHAFC Braders Posted 2 September 2014 Share Posted 2 September 2014 Interesting. Did well at Brighton and reached the play-offs, but wasn't it considered (Brad?) that his style was quite laboured, whilst Watford are quick and high scoring. Exactly this - however at Brighton the general feeling is the players that were bought in weren't of his choosing if the Watford board back him then we'll truly see what he can do , personally pulled off a miracle with us I felt given he had a hand tied behind his back. Lamby Posted 3 September 2014 Share Posted 3 September 2014 Much nicer club than Charlton, good luck Chrissy P. Bullshit, all Huddersfield are is a rugby club playing with a different shaped ball. Utterly boring team with a mongy fanbase, they don't deserve to be in the Championship.
