Championship 2014/15

Recommended Posts

The championship really is an incredible league. In the last 10 games

Bournemouth winning there last 5 games.

Ipswich won 4 on the bounce then no win in 5 before winning at weekend

Forest without a win in 8 games lol

Wigans poor run so far this season but unbeaten in 6 now (5 draws though)

Leeds without a win in 7

Brighton havent won in last 10 games

Blackpool are just a crock of shit

Every year it just seems to get better and better. I thought i wouldnt pay much attention this season but if this keeps up the last couple of months of the season will be amazing to watch.

Eddie Howe really is doing a fantastic job at Bournemouth.

The Stuart Pearce love in looks like its falling apart lol

Bolton Wanderers are currently owned by businessman Eddie Davies

Bolton Wanderers chairman in Thailand for takeover talks

Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside is in Thailand having discussions about a possible takeover of the Championship side, reports BBC Radio Manchester.

Thai entertainment company BEC-Tero and Siam Sport Syndicate have previously been linked with a joint bid.

Businessman Eddie Davies currently owns Wanderers through parent company Burnden Leisure PLC, who last December announced they were £163.8m in debt.

Bolton ended an 11-year stay in the top flight after their relegation in 2012.

"I don't know about selling it, but I know Phil Gartside is in Thailand to discuss a proposition from some Thai businessmen," Bolton manager Neil Lennon told BBC Radio Manchester.

"I've no idea what the ins and outs of it are, I'll know more when Phil comes back."

Any consortium with the word "syndicate" involved sound dodgy as anything.

All of us (well, 99% of us) said when Pearce was appointed it would end in tears, I genuinely thought he'd proven me and many others wrong after they looked the business to start with; but they're back to their usual mundane, mid-table selves, now. Joyous.

They're definitely looking good at the moment to meet my prediction of bottom half before the season started!
