2 Problems Des, you need a picture that makes you look like a badass - they can't all be perfectly presentable. Also I think the lines are getting too recycled and we need some new ones here, most girls aren't responding to me either.

That is where you are going wrong.. That Iron Maiden garbage is long gone, get a slicker hair do, preferably with a comb over, say you like house music/dance, go down next and go for a plain t-shirt, tighter pair of jeans and with a pair of converse then you are good to go mate.
