I don't get it at all mate, I get the whole "ah, I'd like to see a bit more of the world" but she wants to do a ****ing year there!

 

Sounds like my idea of hell, that. At the risk of sounding hipster it's so, so ****ing cliched in all, to top it she's packing in a very, very steady job here. Baffling.

this has cut you real deep man. this is meant to be a lighthearted thread about tinder not the love of your life moving to the other side of the world thread.

I know what you mean mate. Whenever I see anything like that I instantly write them off.

I'd love to go and will do there and Thailand in the next few years but go for a year and pack in a decent career? No chance. I'll go for 3 weeks and make it an awesome holiday, no need to be visiting laundrettes and acting like a hobo.
