Freesolo Posted 18 September 2014 Posted 18 September 2014 (edited) Love the guy. Seen him play for "Cally" a few times, when up in Scotland. Yea he comes from my home town, seems like a half decent player but lets face it the standard of Scottish football is utter crap Edited 18 September 2014 by Freesolo
MattyFromLE Posted 18 September 2014 Posted 18 September 2014 That goal against Chelsea, that was unbelievable I think he lived off this for a while. City fans adored him after that. Until Barnsley away, when he told us all to "eff orf" after we told him to hurry up taking a corner in the last minute when we were 2 - 1 down!
Fox92 Posted 18 September 2014 Posted 18 September 2014 Adams resigns from Port Vale. Will always like, and respect, his job here. (Not 'ex-player' I know).

tylesta Posted 18 September 2014 Posted 18 September 2014 Love the guy. Seen him play for "Cally" a few times, when up in Scotland. Watched him a few times average player very lightweight and has a first touch as bad as ted bundy

Will never forget this, was absolutely disgusted, one of my worst away games
Silverdaz Posted 19 September 2014 Posted 19 September 2014 Will never forget this, was absolutely disgusted, one of my worst away games Didnt we lose this game 3-0 could of been six because they missed a few chances and a penalty
Bert Posted 19 September 2014 Posted 19 September 2014 Didnt we lose this game 3-0 could of been six because they missed a few chances and a penalty2-0. Possibly the worst performance we've ever put in under Pearson.
65RosesFox Posted 20 September 2014 Posted 20 September 2014 Lloyd Dyer starts for Watford against Bournemouth on Sky Sports 1 now. It's like seeing one of your fit ex's with an ugly new fella.

J.Lisemore Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 (edited) The offside man DJ Campbell has signed for Maidenhead Town. Hindsight is a wonderful thing eh, we paid 1.6M for his 'services' and could have poached a lad called Jamie Vardy from Stocksbridge Park Steels for what less than £100,000? Edit - stick this in the ex-players thread Mods, didn't realise we had a thread. Edited 26 September 2014 by J.Lisemore
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 I don't like him but he's better than Maidenhead - should've stayed at Blackpool, they seemed a good fit for him.
peterborofox Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 Surely DJ will destroy that league? Dont like him but he could still do a job at League 1 at worst! Surely
RedSoxUK Posted 26 September 2014 Posted 26 September 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29377365 Can we all laugh at the man responsible for getting us relegated? Conference South side Maidenhead United have signed former Birmingham, Leicester and QPR striker DJ Campbell. The 32-year-old played a total of 16 games in the Championship last season for Blackburn and Millwall. He started his career in non-league football before moving to Brentford from Yeading in 2005, and has commanded total transfer fees of more than £3m. The former Premier League striker goes straight into the squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash against Faversham Town. Campbell was released by Blackburn in the summer.

Responsible for getting us relegated??? Anyway his lack of opportunities at a higher level might be something to do with this, although admittedly I don't know if this ever reached a conclusion...http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25297600

Ulloa has scored more goals than DJ did already, so yeah I think the main reason for being relegated was the lack of goals we put away.

Out Foxed Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 saw some of the Lille game in the barbers. Gradel had a decent game. Hit the bar with a great shot.
