Guest CityFan 06 Posted 25 October 2014 Share Posted 25 October 2014 Recently, I started my xbox 360 console and the power button went red in the middle. (Not on the outsides or outer ring). However, the power brick supply light is green. As well as this, We have taken apart the 360 and cleared all the dust that may well be in there internally, such as the fan. But when we put the xbox back together, plugged together into the plugs again, it switched on. However, When we saw the fan which was normally moving when the console is on, it wasen't. We seem to think it mght be the internal power supply as the external power supply seems to be ok.Any other ideas or suggestions you may have, are very apperciated and welcomed. Thanks. red5 Posted 26 October 2014 Share Posted 26 October 2014 There's no internal power supply, it could be the fan or many other things, you'll need to check if the fan's getting power.
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 October 2014 Share Posted 26 October 2014 It won't be the DVD drive. Mine is just about cooked, and no red light. Join the revolution, buy a PS4 (but don't get Driveclub!)
Jaspa Posted 26 October 2014 Share Posted 26 October 2014 Have you tried starting it up without the hardrive to see if it boots up?
