City table £7.9m bid for Croatian striker Kramaric

Recommended Posts

Funny really... good source in the summer says we have about £10m to spend and we spend about £10m. Good source says we have around £6m to spend in January and everyone acts like he's an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. Some random agent says "what if" we spend £40m and it's gospel.

We may only spend £6 million but the fact we bid £8 million for this Croat suggests a bit more and we aren't going to only sign 1 player.

confusing and conflicting reports, certainly seems a quality striker and would be a elcome addition either permanent or loan. Choosing Chelsea over us is a "no brainer" until you consider game time and previous Chelsea signings that they seem to send away and never return. If we can agree a permanent contract with wage reduction clause etc he could be an awesome signing

He'll never be seen again if he goes to play for that lot.

Poor, poor decision. This must be why his agent said we were the better choice.

It wasn't his agent was it? I read it as "an agent" which is why I couldn't understand why people were getting excited.

That's a ridiculous statement. So lukaku was never seen again?

Lukaku was loaned to 2 other Premier League clubs and never really broke into the Chelsea side.

I am struggling to understand what the benefit to Chelsea is of sending him to a different country and a different culture to the UK when by all accounts there is a club 100 miles up the road desperate to take the player for 6 months.

Because chelsea have an agreement with vitesse to loan them a certain amount of players. They probably guarantee him to start every game aswell which we obviously wouldn't.

Apparently Manchester City and Chelsea interested in signing Wilfried Bony.... (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/30639686

... If we were to get Kramaric, then WB to Chelsea could potentially pave the way for it....

Also, El Shaarawy for a reported £11.5mil?!  If we want to splash the cash, an Italy international, still only 22, Left wing/forward wouldn't be a bad shout!!

We're not getting Kramaric.

The reason Chelsea will sign this player instead of us is not because they are a bigger club but because we are tight fisted c#nts when it comes to wages. We are in no position to negotiate the lowest wage possible, we should have just offered him five times as much as he asked for and a 25% wage rise if we stay up with a relegation release clause of the amount we bought him for in case we go down, that way we wouldn't make a loss on him. Guarantee we would sign him instead of Chelsea then. Being tight with wages and transfer bids is going to get us relegated!

Yeah okay. Why don't you think for a second what you would do if you were him and not a Leicester supporter. Join the team that is first in the premiership with the best manager in the world. Live in london and train with the likes of cesc fabregas, Diego costa and eden hazard. Or join the team who is bottom of the league, live in Leicester and play with super davey nugent.

Thought Steve Walsh's Chelsea connections would get us the loan here.

If Chelsea sign Bony then that's already a nail in Kramaric's coffin
