KRAMARIC FOXES TALKS ONGOING

Just a quick update on the latest surrounding the future of Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric, with the Croatia international having been heavily linked with a move to Leicester City in recent weeks.

Now according to Sky sources, the 23-year-old was in Leicester last night to discuss personal terms with the Foxes, with talks set to continue today between the two clubs.

You know what training camps are there for? Most footballers also stay active with individual fitness training.

Clinging onto straws now, aren't we?

Our last game was on December the 15th. Three weeks ago. He'll be a bit rusty and I don't expect he'll play against Villa. Or at least, don't expect him to start. If I was your manager he would be starting. Would expect him to play a couple of matches for your reserve squad just to get back in the game.

On the up side, our manager is a control freak, each of our players was given a training schedule for the winter break. If you don't arrive fit it usuali means that you won't be playing that much. And it doesn't matter if you're the star or a junior player.

Our squad is set to meet today. All players are expected to return in top shape. Kramaric is a model professional. He would have followed the training schedule even though he knew that he was leaving.

SSN:

FOXES EYE CLARETS STRIKER

Some more news from the King Power Stadium, and we understand that even if Leicester City do manage to complete the signing of Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric this month, then the Premier League strugglers could still pursue a move for Burnley frontman Danny Ings.

The Clarets, who like the Foxes are also fighting relegation to the Championship this season, have already rejected one bid before Christmas, believed to be worth £7.5m, for their star man.

That's a bit naive mate - his representative will talk to anyone he wants to now he's here. Let's hope there nothing to be concerned about but the work visa thing is unconvincing. Plenty of deals are announced subject to work permit.

City have always been cautious to announce signings ever since the Jason McAteer farce.

I think Kramaric can play wide left as well I saw.

Think it would be much better to play him as a number 9 though, he looks like he has a deadly finish!

He'll sign today... Officially announced at 3.30pm..

GMT or CET?

Erm no? Training is nothing like playing matches. Why do you think we set up reserve matches. There's no way he will be ready to start premiership matches.

How long after we sign him will you stay so negative?

Who says he needs to start?

In any case, players brought in during the January transfer window are most likely to be given a place on the bench and the odd appearance here or there as they're acclimatizing.

before starting against Manu and Spurs (in the cup) and bagging a hat trick in each.
