Going to Ibiza in May, don't want the vaccine. What do we reckon likelihood is off Spain relaxing their rules when it comes to being jabbed?

Pure  guessing, pure speculation  and talking out of my arse but i just dont see many countries relaxing that requirement until post pandemic.

That sounds great - thanks.

Myself, the wife and 2 teenage daughters.  We like thinks fairly quite and chilled.  Nice restaurants at night, not noisy bars.  Sounds ideal.

We were looking at flying in to Kotor, but will also look at Dubrovnik.  Have flown in to Dubrovnik a couple of times.  We stayed than at a place called Cavtat - lovely little coastal town.

We flew into Podgorica and stayed in Petrovac. Smallish town, largely dominated by Russian holidaymakers. Sometimes it felt like we had adjust a bit that it's not a holiday resort catered for British holiday makers. In that sense it feels like going back twenty-five years in time watching them go to the beach and literally have every single possibly required thing packed. Equally you don't feel that embarrassment of the 'Dog and Duck' being set up.

We visited Budva which is someways a hilarious mix of capitalist casinos/shopping centres and a seriously beautiful, amazing old town. You'll find those holidaymakers as already mentioned go back themselves off in the hotels for the evening and the resorts quieten down.

Seriously though make the effort to go about a bit - it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I went for a walk one day over this hill and found another beach which went for miles. Walked past all these traditional villas where families were spending their summer. Happened to come across this site which had held a techno festival the week before. It's untouched in parts. When I left I had a bit of a complex about how a generation are all chasing that untouched part of the world to get on instagram.  But that's another debate for another day.

There was another moment which was seriously shady (which when you read into Montenegro politics isn't that surprising). We were next to this large hotel what had a large penthouse suite at the top. Looked out one early evening as the sun was coming down and must have been about eight suited security men on the balcony. Then the entrance had another six or seven.

Slim. Ibiza is insisting 12 year olds have been jabbed aren't they.

We are due to go in July and October And our daughter doesn't want the vaccine.

So she will be staying at home lol

Not necessarily a holiday but I've booked Ladies Day ticket for the Mrs at Aintree.

Checked hotel prices in Liverpool   Expected them to be higher than usual but ****ing hell.....I've booked a StayCity apartment for now as I don't want prices to go up any higher but has anyone even stayed outside Liverpool for Aintree with easy transport links to racecourse, although I'd expect even the outskirts hotels are expensive for them few days.

Absolutely no chance.

I think it'll all depends on what the EU tell them to do.

Otherwise, if Spain saw Portugal lifting all restrictions, they'd have to do the same or be forced to lose all the tourism to them.

I'm meant to be going Spain in April, from 1st Feb it says you'll need to have had a vaccine in the last 270 days to be allowed to enter, when I go, it'll be either 270 or 271 days since my last jab (depending on if they're counting the jab date as a day), so squeaky bum time lol

The rules are different between the other EU countries and the UK, which is now a third country. Spain doesn't care about the British tourists and won't change the rules for them, they get more than enough tourists from the rest of Europe.

Didn't realise that, thought it was the same for everyone!

I see they don't accept previous positive COVID result as a passport either.

Torn with what to do, don't really want the booster but will be forced to or lose all the £ I've paid:sleep:

No unfortunately it's fully vaccinated or no entry from outside the EU. It's been a nightmare for me, my daughter hasn't been able to come out since October because she hasn't yet been eligible for her second vaccine in the UK, she's had Covid twice but as you say, Spain don't recognise recovery from outside the EU either.

Stay somewhere with quick and regular train links?  Manchester for example?

I'm starting to feel my trip to Orlando is finally going to happen after a two year wait. Set to pay my final payment today. Just over three months away now. Sadly got to get Esta as the one I did have as expired. New passport too in the post. Arranging the Theme Parks is going to be interesting one, sounds pretty complicated from what I'm told and very expensive.

Very expensive indeed, but you might be better off with one of the Freedom Tickets to save money/time.

There are different variations depending on which parks you want to/don't want to go to, but you'll be looking at around £870 per person for Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, with unlimited access to each over a 2-week period. If you didn't want Disney, it's about half of that price.

Yeah going to expensive, we've booked an appointment just so we can save a few dollars on meals out. Probably for about four days of our two week holiday we'll be cooking and eating in.

You'll need plenty of spending money, for sure. Our last trip was (pre-kid) about 14 years ago, but we ended up taking about $3500 for food and shopping (split roughly 40/60).

We're looking to go back, possibly next year, now the boy is about tall enough to go on all of the rollercoasters. It's going to cost around £8-9000, though - and that's staying in a cheapish motel on I-Drive.

No, everyone over the age of 12 needs to be fully vaccinated, with the last dose at least 14 days ago but no longer than 270 days.

Are 12 year old + required to have more than 1 dose?

My daughters 13 and only had the first dose, no notification for dose 2 yet?
