What more could you want?

Dont forget the knotted hankercheifs, ice-cream,deckchairs and beach babes. It is no Baywatch but its the next best thing.

Enjoy.Wow Stan.Off to Royan now! The over side of Bordeaux .Stopping off near Angers tonight in a chateau .17 of us from early next week!!!!

 

You'll love it, all 17 of you tanked up on fine wines. What can go wrong ;) ?

Budget? where do you fancy? Off on a Celebrity cruise in 4 weeks cant wait. Flying to Paris going on train to Milan then onto Venice, weeks cruise taking in Kotor,Athens,Santorini,Katakolon then back to Venice for a train to Munich for a few days and then home.

Sounds good.  I thought we might try some winter sun and cruise from Southampton.

Booking a holiday with the missus as I type this. 

 

We've narrowed down the search to Syracuse Sicily, Dubrovnik and Malta. Syracuse might be the first to get ruled out as, after internal travel costs, may end up being the most expensive / highest effort.

 

Anybody got recent experience with Malta and Dubrovnik and how did you find it for general costs? Getting around, eating, drinking, etc?

Last time I was Dubrovnik (early 00's) there was a cafe 'Adolf' with photos of the Fuhrer adorning the walls.

Syracusa is much nicer imo. I can't imagine it's much more expensive, Croatia has rocketed in price recently.
