Has Anyone Booked a Holiday Yet?

Any towns in the UK that haven't turned into festering shitholes in the last few years.

We fancy a few nights away with our new born and thought a nice town with decent countryside on the doorstep would be nice for eating out etc.

Montpellier area of Cheltenham on my mind

North York moors, York, and Whitby.

Menorca next week.

Anybody been this year and had any issues?

I won't be breaking into anybody's garden, scaling any balconies, or generally getting pissed up so I'm hoping the locals won't mind me 😂

Was in Son Bou recently, frosty receptions for a few people at the border but no issues at all on the whole. Really peaceful and enjoyable holiday, other than the thunderstorms.

We had a week last month based in Northallarton.

Loved it!

North Yorks Moors, Day trips to Knaresborough, York, Whitby and Richmond and great seaside about an hour away(we went marske-by-the-sea which was actually stunning).

We actually loved it there.

Went a couple of years ago, amazing place.

Hire a car.

Even I did and it was a piece of p1ss, opens up so much as the local buses ain't all that for tourism.

Pick up any trilobite fossils on the beach? It’s like every other rock reveals a great one.

How long are you out for?

Apparently "feels like" temp could hit 51 degrees over the weekend

( tbf you are right about the price, have been tempted in the past to book something out that way in proper 5 star luxury as even the brilliant water parks and hotel roof top pools look empty, but I have the complexion of Casper the Ghost and burn in anything over 20 degrees so always bottled it lol )

Here for 2 weeks yes its 5 star I've plenty of lotion so all good atm

I'll be on a repositioning cruise in October but sailing from San Francisco to Sydney. Repositioning cruises are so much more relaxing.

Ooh, nice.

I’ve done a couple of those trips, usually legs of a world cruise (working, not holidaying, though),

Via Hawaii and Fiji? Sounds great.

You get way more sea days with the relocation trips, which I prefer.
Enjoy!

Been twice, its a nice place, we stayed in cala blanca, right next to the sea, amazon views etc and short taxi into the city, for less then 10 euros.

We sail via Hawaii, Tahiti etc, 6 ports in NZ and onto Sydney.

I love having lots of sea days, too. I think we've got 18 on this one.

First time visiting the southern hemisphere so, very excited for this.
