That's an all time playoff loss. They need to ditch Staley, Payton would jump at the chance to coach that team. I am once again yet to be fully convinced about Herbert is close to the level of Mahomes/Burrow/Allen as well but he needs a better coach.

My rage when anyone punts from the 40 yard line is bad enough, but when it’s Chargers, and a game like that, in the playoffs…sheesh.

The game was so over, the Jags didn't even celebrate their first touchdown - very difficult for the Chargers to switch back on when a game started up again.

 

A brutal way to end the season. :mad:

Just said pretty much the same thing to my lad when he started watching it at 17-0! 

 

He was convinced Miami could win, and 17 unanswered points later, maybe he knows more about this sport than either of us!

I've dismissed the Giants all year & they did regress back to the mean as the year went on. To put tonight into context, these Vikings had a negative points differential this year and I don't think it will take a great team to knock them out.

 

But since 2007 when I got back into the NFL, they've been pretty poor, only made the Playoffs 4 times, and yet somehow won the Superbowl twice! They seem to develop an aura about them once they get in & I'm a bit relieved if they win they will be headed to the Eagles and not the Niners! 

 

(But as its a close game, & the Vikings are an historic 11-0 in 1 score games this year, I'm forecasting them to squeak through tonight & then get thumped at Levis next week :thumbup:).
