Galbraith didn't stay at Fosse long but the winger impressed in the time he was at the club. Making 62 league appearances, he netted 17 goals - not bad for a winger.
Born in Dunbartonshire, he started his career with Renton and moved to Vale of Leven - where he also finished his career - before making his move to Fosse via Sunderland.
He couldn't cement a first-team spot with the Black Cats as they finished runners-up in 1898 and moved to Leicester in search of more regular action. He got what he wanted, and his performances and goals almost helped Leicester to promotion in 1899.
His second season didn't live up to his first, despite being moved to the inside-right position, and he made a return to his former side Vale of Leven to bring his career to a close.
