Full-back Brown made just one appearance for the Foxes in the FA Cup.
He was born in Birmingham and started his career with Aston Villa before arriving on the scene at City in September 1982. The only game he featured in, a cup tie with Notts County, was only due to second broken leg suffered by Tommy Williams. County raced into a three-goal lead and Brown suffered a crisis of confidence, something that led to him being released after just a year with the club.
He went on to play in the lower leagues, with Nuneaton Borough, Stourbridge, Alvechurch and Willenhall Town.
