The midfield maestro may have only played nine games for the Foxes during a loan spell from Wolves but he made a big impact on the City faithful, putting in some dazzling performances. His career started in promising fashion for his hometown club but he endured almost two years on the sidelines through injury. He moved to City in November 2008 in a big to regain full match fitness on a one-month deal. He scored just once during his stay but played a key role in numerous other goals.
The Foxes did extend his stay until the start of February but his form eventually caught the eye of Premier League side Bolton Wanderers, who he signed for in the January transfer window of 2009.
