Wesolowski was a tenacious midfielder who saw his time unfortunately riddled with injury problems despite promising so much following his move to the Walkers Stadium from Australia. He got his shot in the City first team during the summer of 2005 in a friendly against Celtic but sustained a broken leg following a challenge by Bobo Balde, something that kept him out until the turn of the year. When he did return, Wesolowski broke the same leg again just five games after getting back in action and it seemed the writing was, unfortunately, on the wall.
He was a well liked player during his stint at Leicester but a prolonged stay always looked unlikely, especially after he suffered another injury, this time to his thigh, when he returned from his second broken leg. He did return to play 19 games and help City avoid relegation in the 2006-07 season, resulting in a new contract. He couldn't help the club avoid relegation for a second season, suffering two hamstring injuries in the process.
The club sent him out on numerous loan deals to try and get his fitness levels up but, in the summer of 2010 he joined Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee before going on to play for Oldham Athletic. Very much a promising talent, injuries prevented Wesolowski from being a big hit at Leicester.
