The Nottinghamshire-born inside-right enjoyed a good start to his time at Leicester, but his stay was only a brief one as Foxes boss Peter Hodge continued his search for a forward line capable of achieving promotion.
Greatorex played his early football in the Central Alliance League and it was there where he caught the attentions of City when playing against the club's reserve side.
He made the step-up to league football quite well and scored goals in each of his first two home appearances. They were to prove his only goals, however, and a move to Mansfield Town soon followed as Greatorex fell swiftly down the pecking order.
