Flint featured for the Foxes in their amateur days, before entry into the Football League, and made just the one appearance in the blue and white in an FA Cup fourth round tie at home against Burton Wanderers in the fourth round.
It came in October 1890 after Flint was born and raised in a boarding school and then on a Northamptonshire farm. He played on the outside-right and also featured in Fosse's 1891 County Cup-winning side.
When the Foxes did get entry into the Midland League he wasn't part of the club's plans, making only a few appearances in friendly matches.
