Player Profile |
---|
The Scottish right-winger joined Fosse in 1909 and made his debut in September of the same year at Lincoln City but went on to make only 17 appearances in a short stay with the club.
He was the right-wing partner of Jimmy Donnelly at Sheffield United and he rekindled that partnership on his move from Bramall Lane to Leicestershire., but the pair ended up competing for the same starting role and eventually Lang moved on to Denaby United, where he finished his career.
He also played for Barnsley and his close ties to South Yorkshire saw him return there after his playing days were over to focus on work down the pits.
